City of Oshawa Animal Services
A Second Chance for Every Pet
Oshawa Animal Services is dedicated to providing a safe, warm, and professional environment for lost, found, and surrendered animals within our community. We are committed to fostering healthy, happy outcomes and ensuring every pet in our care is treated with compassion and respect.
Our Commitment to the Community
As a city-led service, we address the needs of our local animal population by offering vital services, including veterinary care, enrichment, and reunification support. Our work is driven by a focus on responsible pet ownership, community safety, and a deep-rooted commitment to supporting both our animals and the residents who love them.
How We Provide Care
We operate a shelter environment designed to prioritize the well-being of our residents, supplemented by an incredible network of foster volunteers who provide temporary, loving homes for pets in need. Every animal in our care receives a thorough veterinary examination, spay or neuter services, vaccinations, microchipping, and personalized enrichment to ensure they are ready for their next chapter.
The Joy of Adoption
Choosing a pet is a life-changing decision, and we are here to support you in finding the perfect companion. Our adoption program is made possible by the dedication of our community, and we strive to provide you with all available history to ensure a successful, lasting bond with your new furry family member.
