Cascade Canine Rescue East and West (CCREW) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs and cats from urgent situations and high-kill shelters. We are driven by a passionate team of volunteers working tirelessly to address pet overpopulation through spay/neuter initiatives, education, and life-saving rescue efforts.
Operating out of the Tumalo area of Bend, Oregon, we are a community-focused group that believes every animal deserves a second chance at a loving life. We rely heavily on our network of foster families, local dog advocates, and partner veterinarians to provide the care and advocacy our animals need to thrive. While we have a special place in our hearts for bully breeds, we are not breed-specific and welcome animals of all ages and backgrounds who need a soft place to land.
When an animal joins our rescue, our first priority is their well-being; every pet receives a professional veterinary examination, necessary treatments, vaccinations, and is spayed or neutered. We prioritize placing our rescues in foster homes whenever possible, providing them with the comfort of a home environment while they wait for their perfect match. This careful approach ensures that each animal is healthy, microchipped, and ready for their forever family.
We take our adoption process seriously because we are committed to finding the best possible fit for both you and your new pet. Our team considers factors such as your lifestyle, household, and the specific needs of the animal to ensure a successful, lifelong partnership. We view adoption as a joyful, two-way process that brings stability and happiness to both the pet and their new human companions.
