Josephine County Animal Shelter
Our Mission
Our mission is to protect and promote the welfare and safety of pets and people in our community. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, professional care to every animal that comes through our doors.
Supporting Our Community
Located in Grants Pass, the Josephine County Animal Shelter serves as a vital resource for our local animals and their families. Whether we are reuniting lost pets with their owners or preparing animals for their next chapter, we aim to be a supportive voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Providing Compassionate Care
We provide professional care to stray animals, surrendered pets, and animals from legal cases within our shelter facility. Our dedicated staff ensures that every animal receives the attention they deserve, including age-appropriate vaccinations and spaying or neutering, before they head off to their forever homes.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe in creating lifelong partnerships through thoughtful, in-person matching. Because every animal has a unique personality and set of behaviors, we conduct adoptions face-to-face to ensure that our animals find the right fit for your lifestyle and family. We invite you to bring your current dog along for a meet and greet to ensure everyone in your pack gets along beautifully.
