Rogue Valley Humane Society is dedicated to saving lives and serving the animals of our community, one paw at a time. We are committed to ensuring every animal receives compassionate care as we work to build a better future for pets in Southern Oregon.
As a no-kill, not-for-profit shelter serving the Rogue Valley, we take pride in being a trailblazing organization. Our history of service, which includes the opening of our pet food bank in 2015 and our clinic in 2018, reflects our deep commitment to addressing the evolving needs of both our animals and the families who care for them.
We believe in providing a wide scope of high-quality animal services. We operate as the only shelter in Southern Oregon with a clinic and a part-time staff veterinarian, a neonate kitten nursery, a pet food bank, and a humane education program. Our work is made possible through the collaboration of our dedicated staff, volunteers, and the generous support of our community.
Adoption is the start of a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find your new best friend. By welcoming one of our dogs or cats into your home, you are directly supporting our mission and providing a deserving animal with a loving, permanent second chance. Every adoption helps us continue our vital work for the animals that need us most.
