Committed Alliance to Strays (C.A.T.S.) is dedicated to decreasing the number of stray and abandoned cats in Jackson County, Oregon, by rescuing, vaccinating, and providing a safe shelter for those awaiting their forever homes.
We believe every cat deserves a chance at a better life through responsible pet ownership and the power of spaying and neutering.
Founded in 1990 by three compassionate women, C.A.T.S. has been a beacon of hope for local cats for over three decades. From our humble beginnings in barns and garages, we have grown into a dedicated non-profit organization that has successfully rescued over 17,000 cats.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community and supporters, we operate from our own dedicated facility in Medford, where our mission continues to flourish.
At C.A.T.S., we maintain high standards of care by ensuring every cat is spayed or neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated before heading to their new home. Our feline guests also receive comprehensive medical and behavior checks, as well as testing for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and Feline Leukemia.
Beyond medical care, our volunteers spend countless hours with our cats, offering loving support and helping them feel comfortable and secure until they meet their new families.
Adopting a cat is a rewarding partnership that enriches both your life and theirs. We take great care in matching cats with the right homes, encouraging the adoption of playmates so that our feline friends always have the companionship they need.
When you adopt from us, you aren't just getting a pet; you are gaining a new best friend who has been cherished and prepared for a lifetime of love.
Ready to meet your new companion? We invite you to visit our shelter on N. Ross Lane or explore our website to view our currently adoptable cats. Whether you adopt, volunteer, or support our work through donations, you are helping us create a brighter future for the cats of Jackson County.
