Newberg Animal Shelter
Connecting Hearts and Paws
Our mission is simple yet profound: connecting homeless pets with their forever homes. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where every companion pet can thrive while waiting to meet their new family.
A Community-Driven History
Since 1976, we have been serving the Oregon wine country. Today, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization known as Newberg Animal Shelter Friends, we operate our own facility, having purchased the building and land in 2018 with the incredible support of our local community.
Our Commitment to Care
We are a proud no-kill animal shelter that prioritizes the health and well-being of every animal in our care. Our team works hard to provide medical attention, enrichment, and behavior support, ensuring that our residents are ready for their next chapter.
The Joy of Adoption
Adoption is more than just a transaction; it is the beginning of a beautiful partnership. By carefully matching pets with the right individuals, we ensure that every cat and dog finds a loving home where they can truly be themselves. Whether you are looking for a playful pup or a cozy companion cat, we are here to guide you through the process of finding your new best friend.
