Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue, Inc.
Our Mission
Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue is a no-kill, volunteer-run, 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abused, and unwanted animals in our local communities. We are committed to saving the injured, loving the abandoned, and educating the public to create a brighter future for every animal we encounter.
Our Story
Our journey began with a senior dog named Harry, whose story inspired our director to create a haven for animals in need. Though Harry came from a difficult past, he proved that every animal deserves to live out their life with love, dignity, and the very best care. Today, Lucky Dawg is a tribute to Harry and our ongoing commitment to be the people our animals know, love, and rely on.
How We Help
We are a completely foster-based organization, which means our rescued animals thrive in the warmth and stability of private homes rather than a traditional kennel environment. By relying on a dedicated network of volunteers, we ensure that every cat and dog receives individualized attention, socialization, and the comfort they deserve while awaiting their forever families.
The Perfect Match
We pride ourselves on creating the very best match for both the animal and the family they are about to join. Because we are deeply invested in the long-term future of our rescues, we tailor each adoption experience to meet the specific needs of everyone involved, providing support well beyond the finalization of the adoption.
