The Sanctuary at Haafsville
A Sanctuary for Second Chances
The Sanctuary at Haafsville is a dedicated community resource committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where homeless animals can heal, thrive, and prepare for their forever homes. Our mission is to build a kinder world where every animal is valued, respected, and loved.
Our History and Community Impact
For over 15 years, our volunteer-driven organization has served the Lehigh Valley, saving more than 15,000 animals in the process. We act as a vital community resource, partnering with overcrowded shelters and offering assistance to those who can no longer care for their pets, ensuring that no animal is left behind.
Our Compassionate Care Model
We operate as a volunteer-based, no-kill organization that focuses on providing exceptional care through a blend of onsite sanctuary facilities and a dedicated foster network. Whether our rescues stay at our dog campus in Breinigsville or our cat center in Orefield, or reside temporarily in foster homes, they receive the medical care, vaccines, and love they need to transition into their new lives.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe in celebrating the unique human-animal bond, and we are committed to making the right match for both your family and the pet you adopt. Our volunteers work closely with you to understand your lifestyle, ensuring that every adoption is a positive and joyful experience for everyone involved.
