Wayward Whiskers Animal Rescue
Our Mission
Wayward Whiskers Animal Rescue is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of abused, abandoned, and neglected cats and kittens. We are committed to placing these deserving animals into loving, permanent homes.
Why We Do It
We strive to end animal suffering caused by overpopulation through education and by providing low-cost or free veterinary services to our community. Our rescue is passionate about our TNR (trap-neuter-return) programs, which help us make a lasting, positive impact on feline welfare in the Greensburg area.
How We Operate
Our rescue is entirely volunteer-driven and functions through a dedicated network of foster homes. By welcoming felines into temporary living spaces like spare rooms or offices, our volunteers provide the love and stability these cats need while they wait for their forever families. Additionally, we are proud to partner with the Cattfeinated Cat Cafe, where many of our fabulous felines can be visited and met in person.
The Adopter Connection
We believe in finding the best fit home for every cat, ensuring a joyful and lasting partnership between our rescues and their new families. Because we take the time to foster and socialize our cats for at least three weeks, we truly get to know their unique temperaments. Our team is here to guide you through the process, helping you find the perfect feline companion to match your lifestyle.
