Shenango Valley Animal Shelter
Our Mission
The Shenango Valley Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and humane environment for homeless dogs and cats as we help them find their permanent, loving forever homes. We believe in serving our community through professional, compassionate animal care and responsible population control.
Serving Our Community
As a stray-based, no-kill shelter, we serve as a vital resource for our community by protecting both public health and animal welfare. We work to respond to stray, injured, or sick animals while enforcing state and local laws, such as rabies vaccination and licensing requirements, to ensure safety for everyone.
Our Care Model
We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and welcoming shelter facility where animals receive the care they need while awaiting adoption. Our team is committed to transparency and professionalism, ensuring that every cat and dog in our care is treated with dignity, provided with necessary medical attention, and prepared for life in a new home.
Building Lifelong Bonds
Adopting an animal is a lifetime responsibility, and our goal is to ensure a happy, successful match for both the pet and your family. By taking the time to research personalities and participating in required meet-and-greets, you help us maximize the probability of a joyful happily ever after for every animal that comes through our doors.
