Laura's Hope Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to providing a second chance to abandoned and surrendered dogs. We work tirelessly to save lives by matching each unique rescue with the perfect forever family.
Since our founding in 2009, we have proudly saved over 2,800 dogs. We believe that we are a small rescue capable of big things, and we strive to show every dog that they are safe, valued, and loved.
We operate as a community of compassion, often partnering with rescues in the South to bring dogs from overpopulated areas to safety. Our care model is comprehensive; some dogs go directly to loving foster families, while others benefit from our dedicated facility in Northeastern Pennsylvania. At our rescue, dogs receive training in social interactions, crate skills, and leash manners, all while enjoying the freedom of our two-acre outdoor space.
We believe a happy home is a relaxed home, which is why we place such a strong emphasis on finding the right fit for both the dog and the human. Our team carefully screens both our rescues and our applicants to ensure that each adoption is a successful, long-term union. We celebrate the unconditional love these dogs offer and work to make the transition into your home as smooth as possible.
