Four Footed Friends
A Legacy of Compassion
Founded in 1982, Four Footed Friends is dedicated to helping homeless animals from Indiana County and the surrounding areas find their forever homes. We believe every animal deserves a life free from abuse, and we are committed to providing a safe, supportive environment while they wait for their new families.
Our Philosophy of Care
We are a non-profit organization that believes in providing a sanctuary for animals until they find the right home. Our shelter relies on the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers to provide veterinary care, rehabilitation, training, and socialization for every dog and cat in our custody. By avoiding euthanasia simply due to a lack of a home, we ensure that our residents receive the time and care they need to thrive.
Building Meaningful Connections
Our goal is to selectively place our animals with individuals and families who will provide loving, lifelong homes. We view adoption as a joyful partnership and work diligently to ensure each pet is matched with the right environment to succeed. Every adoption is a commitment for the lifetime of the animal, and we are proud to facilitate these life-changing relationships.
