Pet Pantry of Lancaster County is dedicated to advocating for animal welfare from every angle. We strive to create happier, healthier futures for pets and the people who love them by responding to their unspoken needs.
The Pet Pantry began when our co-founders recognized that neighbors were struggling to feed their pets and began distributing food from garages and storage units. Over nearly 15 years, our mission has grown to provide a full-service resource that helps keep pets in their loving homes while also rescuing those in need.
We operate as a limited-admission, no-kill organization that supports pets through three core services: feed, fix, and rescue. By offering pet food assistance and affordable, reduced-cost veterinary services like spay/neuter and vaccines, we help prevent surrender and keep families together. When animals do come into our care, they receive dedicated support at our Millersville Road facility or our Dena & Sam Lombardo Animal Rescue & Surgery Center.
We believe every rescue animal deserves the care and attention necessary to thrive in their next chapter. Our team works closely with each animal and every adopter to create thoughtful, lasting matches, ensuring the experience feels like the perfect fit for your home. We invite you to complete an adoption application and get pre-approved, bringing you one step closer to your new companion.
Whether you are looking to adopt, want to learn more about our upcoming community events, or wish to support our mission through a donation, we are here to help.
