Supporting Pets and Families
Our journey began nearly 15 years ago when our co-founders recognized a pressing community need: neighbors were struggling to feed their beloved pets. Today, we continue this vital work by providing pet food assistance and affordable veterinary services, helping to reduce the financial barriers that often lead to pet surrender.
Our Care Model
We are a limited-admission, no-kill organization operating across two dedicated locations. Our flagship Millersville Road site serves as our cat rescue and surgical center, while the new Dena & Sam Lombardo Animal Rescue & Surgery Center on Columbia Ave features a dedicated dog adoption center. Beyond our facilities, we rely on a network of trained foster families to provide animals with a comforting, home-like experience while they await their forever families.

9/30 - Lebanon coffee roaster feeds shelter cats
Kitty Town Coffee, a Lebanon coffee roaster founded in 2019 by Zanetta and Ken Kok, has funded nearly 5.3 million shelter cat meals by donating a week's worth of cat food for every bag of coffee sold.

9/24 - Someone had to say goodbye. It could be that you were found abandoned or stray. It could be that your owner deeply loved you but lost their home or their job. It could be that your owner passed away. We wish we could tell every animal: No matter what brought you here, don’t worry, you’re safe. You have an entire community that’s here to take care of you and advocate for you. What a privilege it is to love animals. They may not be able to understand all of our words, but they absolutely understand our actions. 9/18 - Prince is our longest resident at the moment and we don’t know why because he’s truly a catch! Prince is a 3-year-old Husky. But don’t let Husky stereotypes scare you off. Look how awesome Prince is! Prince gets along well with most dogs and is currently living with one in his foster home. He is looking for a home without cats and because he can be excited and playful, would do best in a home without small kiddos. As you can see, Prince has been on his fair share of adventures with our staff and his foster family and has done very well. He is a happy, goofy boy with a zest for life.
