CompAnimals Pet Rescue Inc
Our Mission
CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer-driven, no-kill rescue dedicated to taking in unwanted, abandoned, or abused dogs, cats, and small pets. We strive to place our animals in loving, permanent homes while providing a sanctuary for those whose age, health, or temperament requires specialized care.
Our Story
Our journey began two decades ago as a senior pet rescue with the mission of helping animals who found themselves in need after their owners could no longer care for them. Today, we have grown into a community-based organization that specializes in helping animals who need extra T.L.C.—from those missing limbs or hair to animals needing surgery—though we always keep a soft spot for the graying muzzles of our senior friends.
How We Care
We believe in providing a supportive environment for our animals, utilizing both our Landenberg shelter and a dedicated network of foster homes. By placing pets in real-life family settings, we can better socialize and evaluate their needs, ensuring they are prepared for a successful transition into their forever home. Our animals receive all necessary medical treatment, including spaying, neutering, and vaccinations, before becoming available for adoption.
The Perfect Match
We are known for our thoughtful matchmaking skills. We take the time to review applications and call references because we are truly committed to setting every animal and family up for long-term success. After adoption, we remain a resource for you, offering ongoing coaching and support to ensure your new companion thrives.
