Animal House Project is dedicated to offering comprehensive support to vulnerable animals through rescue, adoption, and compassionate care. We are shaping a future where every companion animal finds a nurturing home and receives the devoted support they deserve.
Founded in 2001, we began as a no-kill rescue group with a dream of helping animals in need. Over the years, we realized that many families were facing the heartbreaking choice of surrendering pets due to financial hardship, so we expanded our mission to help keep those beloved companions in their homes through our specialized food pantries and care support.
At Animal House Project, we believe that rescue is a team effort. While we maintain a warehouse facility in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, for our food pantries and operations, our SafeHaven Animal Rescue Team program works with top-tier rescues, dedicated short-term foster homes, and, when necessary, our own kennels to ensure each dog is fully supported.
When you choose to adopt through our SafeHaven program, you are gaining a lifelong partner. Our adoption process is designed to be thorough and thoughtful, including an application, a meet and greet, and ongoing support, ensuring that both the pet and the family find the perfect, lasting connection.
Whether you are looking to bring a new friend into your home or want to support our ongoing efforts, we invite you to be part of our community.
