Hillside S.P.C.A.
A Legacy of Hope
Hillside SPCA is dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate haven for cats and dogs across Schuylkill County, PA. As a proud no-kill shelter, our mission is to ensure every animal receives the care, comfort, and respect they deserve while awaiting their forever family.
Serving Our Community
For over 40 years, our Pottsville facility has served as a vital lifeline for animals in need, covering more than 780 square miles. Thanks to the unwavering support of our donors and volunteers, we have grown into a unique resource that promotes responsible pet ownership and provides critical services like our low-cost spay and neuter clinic.
Our Care Model
We believe in providing more than just shelter; we provide a place for our residents to thrive. Our cats enjoy spacious condos with access to fresh air and sunshine, while our dogs benefit from comfortable kennels and outdoor exercise yards where they can play and socialize.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We view adoption as the start of a beautiful, lifelong partnership. Our dedicated staff and volunteers work hard to get to know each animal's personality, ensuring we find the right match for both the pet and your unique lifestyle. We invite you to visit our facility to spend time in our meet-and-greet area, where you can connect with your future companion in a calm, welcoming environment.
