Clarion PAWS
Our Mission
Clarion PAWS is a dedicated no-kill feline adoption center in Western Pennsylvania committed to promoting the humane and protective care of animals. We strive to create positive community interactions that enable people of all ages and circumstances to enjoy the lifelong rewards of feline companionship.
Who We Are
Located just outside of Clarion, PA, in Shippenville, our organization is powered entirely by a passionate team of volunteers from our community. From our board members and cleaners to our fosters and adoption staff, we all give our time, energy, and resources to ensure our feline residents are loved and protected while awaiting their forever homes.
Our Care Model
As a proud part of the nationwide No More Homeless Pets movement, we provide a safe, nurturing environment for cats in our care. Our facility on Route 322 serves as a hub where our volunteers provide essential care, socialization, and medical support, including spay and neuter resources for the community. We also rely on a dedicated network of foster families who offer bridge homes to help cats transition from shelter life to their final adoptive families.
The Joy of Adoption
We believe that finding your new feline companion is a deeply personal journey, and we encourage you to visit our shelter to meet our residents in person. While their photos may catch your eye, it is the unique personality connection you make that matters most for a happy life together. Our staff is here to guide you through a thoughtful adoption process to ensure a successful match for both you and your new furry friend.
