At South Hills Pet Rescue, we are committed to saving all breeds with all needs, providing love, care, and a true second chance to every dog who enters our sanctuary. We believe in building a family rooted in compassion, where every animal is treated with dignity and provided a safe place, whether for a little while or forever.
Our journey began in 2012 when a chance request to help an overwhelmed local rescue turned into an unexpected calling. We opened our doors to dozens of dogs in need, and what started as a facility for boarding and training quickly transformed into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to life-saving work. Since 2014, we have remained steadfast in our mission to help those that others cannot or will not.
As a dedicated no-kill sanctuary, we ensure that every dog receives comprehensive care, including veterinary evaluations, vaccinations, microchipping, and essential behavioral support. Our small but mighty team, supported by an incredible community of volunteers, works tirelessly to provide a comfortable, climate-controlled environment for our residents. We manage daily operations with consistency and compassion, ensuring each dog is ready for their next chapter.
