Cat Around Town Project

A Brighter Future for Every Kitty

At the Cat Around Town Project, our mission is to ensure every life is treated with humanity and kindness. We are dedicated to creating a community where every kitten has a safe, loving, and permanent home waiting for them.

Rooted in Compassion

We are a non-profit organization committed to proactively controlling overpopulation at its source through education, adoption, and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives. By focusing on the root of the problem, we strive to make a lasting, positive impact for feline welfare throughout our community.

How We Care

We operate entirely through a compassionate network of foster homes, which allows us to provide each cat with individual attention, socialization, and medical care in a supportive environment. Because we do not have a physical shelter facility, our foster parents get to know the unique personality and quirks of every cat in our care, ensuring a smooth transition for both the animal and the family.

Building Lifelong Bonds

We believe that adopting a cat is the beginning of a beautiful, long-term relationship. Our adoption process is designed with care to facilitate purrfect matches, focusing on the individual needs and lifestyles of both the adopter and the kitty. Our team is here to provide you with the information, medical history, and support you need to ensure you and your new companion are set up for a lifetime of happiness.

Join Our Mission

Are you ready to find your new best friend? We invite you to browse our available kitties online or learn more about our upcoming adoption events. Whether you are looking to adopt, foster, or volunteer, your support helps us transform lives one cat at a time.

10/1 - Everyone agrees that Glory is a very good girl. Glory also agrees that she is a very good girl. At around 7 years old, this sweet lady has traded kitten chaos for a more dignified lifestyle centered around birdwatching, lap lounging, accepting pets, and overseeing her kingdom. She gets along with her foster siblings well enough, but she'd also like the record to show that she firmly believes she should be in charge of them, the humans, and probably the birds outside too. Glory is affectionate, conversational, and happiest when she's spending time with her people. If your home is missing a loving companion with excellent snuggling skills and the confidence of feline royalty, Glory is ready to move in and assume her rightful place on the throne. 👑💕🐦 👉🏼 Adoption application: https://cataroundtownproject.org/adoption-application/ #AdoptGlory #HouseQueen #GoodGirlEnergy #BirdWatchingExpert #CatAroundTown #AdoptDontShop

9/25 - Some cats make biscuits. Hard Hat works in biscuit construction. 🦺🐾 No blueprints. No power tools. Just two tiny paws and an absolutely unreasonable commitment to blanket kneading. Frankly, we haven't seen work ethic like this in years. 😂 Employee of the Month. No question. #HardHat #BiscuitMaker #HardAtWork #ConstructionCrew #FosterCat #AdoptMe #CatAroundTown
