Our Mission
At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that every life is a miracle deserving of kindness. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to ensuring no cat is forgotten, striving to make Kershaw County a no-kill community.
Why We Do It
We believe in addressing the root cause of cat overpopulation through a cooperative effort of adoption, education, and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives. Our goal is to reach a day when the supply of kittens meets the demand, ensuring a safe, loving home for every cat in our community.
How We Care
We operate as a foster-based rescue, meaning we do not have a physical facility. By housing our cats in dedicated foster homes, we provide the individualized attention, socialization, and medical care—including spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchipping—that every cat needs to thrive before finding their forever family.

We are committed to facilitating purrfect matches between our cats and their new families. Our adoption process is designed to be simple and supportive, allowing us to share each cat’s unique history, quirks, and personality so that you can find the companion who is truly right for your lifestyle.
