Cullen's Archangel RescuE, Inc.
Our Mission
Cullen's Archangel RescuE (CARE) is dedicated to saving lives by providing quality veterinary care, love, and training to animals in need, while educating our communities on the importance of spaying, neutering, and responsible pet care.
Our Story
Founded in late 2003, our organization began in honor of a beloved rescue dog named Cullen, who remains the inspiration behind our work and the face of our logo. Since achieving 501(c)(3) status in 2005, we have grown into an all-species rescue that continues to honor his legacy by providing a second chance to animals who have been abandoned or left behind.
How We Operate
CARE is a unique, foster-based rescue, meaning we do not maintain a physical shelter. Instead, our dedicated volunteers open their private homes to provide safe, temporary sanctuary for our animals until they find their permanent families. This network allows our pets to experience a nurturing home environment, where they receive personalized attention and care while waiting for their perfect match.
The Joy of Adopting
We believe that adopting a pet is a life-changing partnership, and we strive to ensure every placement is a thoughtful, compatible match for both the animal and the family. By thoroughly screening applications and prioritizing the individual needs of our pets, we aim to prevent future hardships and ensure these companions thrive in their new forever homes. When you choose to adopt, you aren't just gaining a new family member; you are directly enabling us to rescue another animal in need.
