We strive not only to match animals with loving families but also to promote responsible pet ownership and prevent animal cruelty. Our focus on providing excellent customer service means that every visitor to our facility is treated with care, as we guide them through the adoption process to find the perfect match. We understand the financial challenges that come with our mission, especially since we made the courageous decision to stop euthanizing healthy, adoptable animals for space. This decision reflects our unwavering commitment to the animals in our care, and we continue to seek ways to support them through community donations and compassionate volunteers. In addition to our adoption services, Grand Strand Humane Society offers low-cost veterinary care and hosts various programs to ensure the well-being of our community's pets. Our Food Bank Program and R.A.I.N. Program provide necessary resources for families in need, promoting a stronger bond between people and animals. As we look ahead, we are excited about our capital campaign, "A New Home for Hope," aimed at building a state-of-the-art facility that serves both our animals and the community.
