Welcome to Lovable Paws Rescue, a compassionate organization dedicated to making a positive impact in our community through the rescue and adoption of unwanted dogs. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill organization, our mission centers around reducing overpopulation, abuse, and neglect in our local dog population. At Lovable Paws Rescue, we believe that every dog deserves a second chance. We are powered by a team of committed volunteers who generously donate their time and resources to provide these loving animals with the medical attention, care, and love they need to thrive. Our focus is not only on rescuing but also on ensuring that each dog finds a forever home with the right family. We offer a variety of adoption opportunities, with several dogs available for sponsorship. Visitors are encouraged to inquire about these special dogs during their visits to our farm location at 2144 Grays Highway, Ridgeland, SC. Open hours for adoption events are on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM, weather permitting, with appointments available on other days. Understanding that every dog's journey is unique, our adoption process prioritizes finding the perfect match between a dog and their potential family. Each dog is spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption, ensuring a healthy start in their new home. We also recognize the importance of providing a supportive transition for our dogs, which is why we offer resources and guidance to help new pet owners acclimate their furry friends to a loving family environment. In memory of our beloved dog, Pepper, we have initiated Pepper's Broken Tails Community Fund. This fund assists families in need by providing support for food, veterinary care, and spay/neuter services, ensuring each dog can remain in a loving home rather than entering the shelter system. Additionally, we are developing a Memorial Garden to honor the souls we have loved and lost, creating a serene space to remember their impact.
