Richardson Rescue
Our Mission
Richardson Rescue is a non-profit organization in York, SC, dedicated to preserving the sanctity of animal life. Our goal is to find a loving forever home for every pet that comes into our care while supporting the community through education and low-cost spay/neuter services.
Our Story
Established as a 501(c)(3) publicly funded rescue, we were founded with the commitment to save animals from the streets and provide them with a safe haven. Our work continues today in the proud memory of our co-founder, Hanna Snow, who helped lay the foundation for our mission of compassion.
How We Help
We operate as a dedicated team focused on both immediate rescue and long-term pet wellness. Beyond our adoption services, we strive to prevent neglect and abuse by offering resources that help pet owners provide better care, ensuring every animal has the chance to thrive in a healthy environment.
The Adopter Connection
We believe that saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever. Our team is committed to finding the perfect match between our animals and their new families. We take care to ensure that every adoption creates a joyful, lifelong partnership built on love and gentle care.
Connect With Us
If you are ready to open your heart and home, we invite you to view our available pets on our website. Please submit an adoption application to begin your journey, and once approved, we look forward to scheduling an appointment for you to meet your new companion.
