A Paw and A Prayer Dog Rescue is dedicated to helping dogs heal, thrive, and find their forever homes. We are committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs who have faced abandonment, neglect, or abuse.

Based in the Greater Chattanooga, TN area, our organization works to reduce the number of pets turned into shelters by providing a safety net for those in need. We are a volunteer-run group that relies on personal resources and the generous support of our community to carry out our life-saving work.
How We Care for Our Dogs
Once a dog enters our care, we prioritize their health and well-being above all else. Every dog is vaccinated, treated for intestinal parasites, and spayed or neutered to ensure they are ready for their next chapter. We also provide necessary medical care for those suffering from conditions like heartworms, mange, or injury, ensuring every dog receives the treatment they deserve.
