McKamey Animal Center
Our Mission
At McKamey Animal Center, our mission is simple: Saving Animals and Helping People. We are dedicated to creating a culture of compassionate care, community engagement, and advocacy for all companion animals.
Our History and Community
Since 2008, McKamey Animal Center has proudly served the Greater Chattanooga area, including the cities of Chattanooga, Red Bank, and Lakesite, Tennessee. As a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit, we provide a vital resource for our community, offering essential support for both pets and their families.
How We Help
We believe in providing life-saving medical care, shelter, and support to homeless, neglected, and abused pets. Through diverse services—ranging from our pet food pantry and low-cost vaccine clinics to our spay and neuter programs—we ensure that every animal receives the compassion and hope they deserve.
The Adopter Connection
We understand that adopting a pet is a life-changing experience that creates a meaningful, joyful partnership. Our goal is to connect you with a companion who will thrive in your home, and our team is committed to supporting that transition through a thoughtful adoption process.
Join Our Mission
Whether you are looking to adopt, volunteer, or contribute to our life-saving work, there are many ways to get involved. We invite you to explore our currently available pets, learn about our upcoming events, or consider supporting our efforts through a donation to help us continue our service to the community.
