Welcome to the SPCA of Bradley County TN! Founded in 2014, our organization is dedicated to advancing the welfare of animals in our community while promoting the No Kill Sheltering philosophy. We operate as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, ensuring that every decision we make is rooted in compassion and responsibility.
At the SPCA of Bradley County, we believe that every animal deserves a loving home. That's why we work tirelessly to place each animal in our care into permanent homes. With the support of Bradley County government, grants, and generous donations from our community, we strive to make a positive impact. Our small, passionate team of approximately 8 employees and numerous volunteers is devoted to providing the highest standard of care for all animals at our shelter.
We prioritize the health and wellbeing of the animals we care for. Each animal receives age-appropriate vaccinations, is spayed or neutered, and is microchipped with lifetime registration upon adoption. Thanks to our efforts, less than 10 percent of animals in our care are euthanized, generally only due to incurable medical conditions or severe behavioral issues. We are proud to say that every life matters at the SPCA of Bradley County.
Our adoption center is welcoming and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, from 12 PM to 5 PM. We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption questionnaire and sign a contract on the day of adoption. Our adoption fees vary by animal type and also include comprehensive medical care. By choosing to adopt, you not only gain a loyal companion but also help us continue our lifesaving mission.
As a community-centered organization, we encourage everyone to get involved! Whether it's through volunteering, donating, or adopting, every contribution helps us make a difference. We also offer a free vaccination program, made possible through our partnership with Petco, ensuring that pets in our area remain healthy and safe.
Thank you for considering supporting the SPCA of Bradley County. Together, we can create a brighter future for the animals in our care and ensure that they find the loving homes they deserve.
