Our Mission
Paws to Care, Inc. is a grassroots organization based in Dyersburg, TN, dedicated to helping people help animals. We strive to improve the lives of our community's homeless and helpless animals through compassionate care, education, and resources.
Our Story
Founded in 2017, we began as a transport-focused rescue helping local shelters move animals to no-kill partners. Over the years, we have evolved to address the urgent local need for pet resources, sterilization services, and community support. Today, we are proud to have saved over 12,000 lives and continue to build a bridge toward a better future for our local pets.
How We Operate
We are a resource-based organization rather than a traditional shelter. We operate through a dedicated network of volunteers and foster homes, complemented by two small facilities used to house animals while they prepare for their next chapter. By relying on foster care, we ensure our animals receive individualized attention and love in a home-like environment while they wait for their forever families.
