Washington County/Johnson City Animal Control Ctr

A Better Life for Every Animal

Our mission is to provide a compassionate, safe haven for animals who are lost, surrendered, neglected, or mistreated, ensuring they all receive a second chance with a loving family of their own.

Rooted in Community Care

Serving the residents of Washington County and Johnson City, our organization is dedicated to supporting animals in need through every stage of their journey. Thanks to generous community support and the dedicated efforts of our staff and volunteers, we have expanded our capacity to provide essential medical care and resources that help every animal thrive.

Our Commitment to Quality Care

We provide each animal in our shelter with a soft bed, nutritious food, comfort, and comprehensive medical treatment, including vaccinations. Our facility is bolstered by the Judy and Doug Lowrie Spay and Neuter Clinic, which allows us to provide expert preventive care and surgical services to both our shelter pets and the surrounding community. By combining these resources with a network of foster homes, we ensure that every pet is given the very best care available while they wait for their forever families.

Finding Your Perfect Match

Adoption is the beginning of a beautiful partnership, and we are here to help you find a companion that fits your life perfectly. Our team works hard to understand the habits and behaviors of our animals so we can facilitate successful, long-term placements. We believe that when you adopt, you aren't just gaining a pet—you are saving a life and making your own life better.

Meet Your New Best Friend

Are you ready to grow your family? We invite you to view our featured pets online or visit us to meet our wonderful animals currently waiting for their forever homes. You can also support our work by donating or checking our Amazon and Chewy wish lists to help us continue our mission.
