Lewisburg Animal Shelter
Our Mission
At the Lewisburg Animal Shelter, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care and finding loving, permanent homes for the animals in our community. We believe every pet deserves a second chance at a happy life.
Serving Our Community
As a department under the Lewisburg Police umbrella, we work in partnership with Marshall County to ensure the safety and well-being of our local animal population. We are proud to serve the Lewisburg area by managing stray and nuisance animal reports while maintaining a safe environment for all our residents.
How We Care
Our shelter facility, located at 300 Woodside Street, is where we house and care for our animals while they wait to meet their new families. We are committed to transparency and professional animal management, working daily to support the health and vitality of the pets entrusted to our care.
Your New Best Friend
Adopting a pet is a wonderful way to bring joy into your home, and we are here to help you make a thoughtful connection. Our standard adoption fee of $125 includes a $50 deposit to support spay and neuter services, which is refunded upon completion to ensure your new companion gets the best start possible.
Visit Us Today
We invite you to visit our facility to meet our current residents during our operational hours throughout the week. If you have questions about a specific animal or our adoption process, please feel free to call us at (931) 359-5948 or reach out via email at shelter.manager@lewisburgtn.gov.
