Welcome to Memphis Animal Services (MAS), where we are dedicated to serving the city of Memphis as its municipal animal sheltering agency. Our primary mission is to ensure the welfare of both pets and their people, providing a haven for about 9,000 animals annually. With the help of our compassionate staff, volunteers, and foster families, we are proud to save approximately 86% of the pets in our care. Our commitment extends beyond just saving lives; we strive to keep families together by assisting over 4,000 households each year through our Pet Resource Center. This initiative offers vital resources such as pet food, veterinary care, and behavioral support, ensuring that no pet is surrendered due to preventable circumstances.
