Welcome to Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, where love never grows old. Founded in 2010 by Zina and Michael Goodin, our mission is to provide a loving home and compassionate care to senior dogs in need. We believe that every dog deserves a forever home, especially those deemed unadoptable due to age or health challenges.
Located in beautiful Mount Juliet, Tennessee, our sanctuary is a Forever Foster Home dedicated to the care of over 500 senior dogs. Here, we guarantee high-quality veterinary care, nutritious food, and an environment filled with love and comfort for all our Old Friends. Our approach prioritizes the quality of life over the quantity of time, ensuring that our dogs live their golden years surrounded by kindness and respect.
At Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, we not only focus on the dogs in our care but also strive to educate the public on the joys and responsibilities of caring for elderly pets. We offer opportunities to volunteer, foster, or even become a Geezer Guardian, ensuring that you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of senior dogs.
Since our inception, we have welcomed more than 1,400 senior dogs into our program, and currently house approximately 120 dogs at the sanctuary while supporting many others in loving foster homes. Our state-of-the-art facility, The PAWvillions, provides ample indoor and outdoor spaces for our dogs to thrive, along with a dedicated veterinary wing and physical therapy areas.
Your support is crucial to our success and allows us to continue our mission. Whether through donations, volunteering, or visiting for a tour, you can help us spread the love and care these dogs deserve. Join us in making a difference in the lives of senior dogs—you'll find that they have so much love to give!
