The Catio Cat Lounge, Inc.
A Haven for Kitties and People
The Catio Cat Lounge is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for cats and kittens. Our mission is to connect rescued felines with their forever families in a warm, cage-free environment.
Our Commitment to Second Chances
We believe every cat deserves a chance to shine, which is why we focus our efforts on rescuing and rehoming around 1,000 cats annually. By creating a space that welcomes senior, stressed, or overlooked cats, we provide a safe harbor for those who might otherwise be at risk in overcrowded shelter settings.
A Unique Approach to Care
Our lounge offers a cage-free, enriching experience that allows our rescues to thrive while they wait for their new families. Supported by an incredible network of volunteers and foster families, our cats enjoy social interaction and comfortable surroundings that help them show their true personalities. Recently, we even expanded our facility to provide a dedicated, private space for senior cats with specialized needs.
Finding Your Perfect Match
The Catio is more than just a shelter; it is a place where you can truly get to know a cat's unique personality before adoption. This thoughtful approach leads to successful, long-term placements, with fewer than 3% of our cats ever being returned. We are proud to facilitate joyful, lasting partnerships between our feline friends and their new human companions.
Join Our Community
Whether you are looking to adopt, want to sip a beverage with a Maine Coon, or wish to attend a fun event like Movies with the Cats, we invite you to be part of our story. Your visits and donations directly support our life-saving work. Come visit us at our Nashville location to meet your new best friend today!
