Oak Ridge Animal Shelter
Finding Your Next Companion
At the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where lovable mutts, purebreds, fluffy cats, and cuddly kittens can wait for their forever families. We are dedicated to matching every animal with a home that fits their unique personality and your lifestyle.
Our Commitment to Care
As a city-funded, no-kill shelter, we serve the Oak Ridge community by providing essential care, medical attention, and a clean environment for stray and surrendered animals. Our dedicated staff and essential volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that every resident receives the human interaction, exercise, and affection necessary for their health and happiness.
The Path to Adoption
We believe that adopting a pet is a joyful partnership built on trust and care. Our adoption process is simple and transparent, ensuring you have the support you need as you welcome a new furry member into your life. Every animal receives a thorough physical wellness check, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and a microchip, so you can focus on building a bond with your new friend.
Join Us in Making a Difference
Whether you are ready to adopt, interested in fostering a pet in need, or want to contribute to our mission, there are many ways to get involved. Please visit us at our shelter on Belgrade Road or browse our current residents online to find a companion who is waiting to meet you. Together, we can ensure every animal finds the loving home they deserve.
