Fayette County Animal Rescue
Our Mission
Fayette County Animal Rescue is a dedicated non-profit, no-kill organization on a mission to provide refuge, medical care, and a second chance at life for abused, neglected, injured, and abandoned animals. We believe in fostering a culture of humanity and gentleness toward all animals while promoting responsible pet ownership through humane education.
Our History
What began in 1998 as a small effort with two kennels in a garage has grown into one of the largest no-kill organizations in the Mid-South. Founders Yvette Rose and Delores Cowan Provow were driven by a simple, powerful desire to make a difference, and today, their lifelong mission is sustained by hundreds of tireless volunteers working to save lives in Fayette County.
How We Care
Located on five beautiful acres in Rossville, TN, our sanctuary-style facility houses between 70-100 animals in a comfortable, low-stress environment. Our shelter features indoor runs, large outdoor yards with swimming pools, and dedicated spaces for socialization, complemented by a compassionate network of foster homes. By focusing on each animal's individual recovery and well-being, we ensure they are fully vetted and ready for their forever families.
Your Partner in Adoption
We are committed to thoughtful, responsible adoptions that create lifelong bonds between pets and their new families. Our careful matching process, which includes veterinary references and home visits for local adoptions, ensures that every animal finds a safe and loving environment. When you adopt from us, you aren't just getting a pet; you are becoming a partner in our mission to save lives.
