Our Mission
Our purpose is to relieve the discomfort, pain, and hunger of our community’s dogs, ensuring every pup finds a home where their care is the absolute priority. We believe that every dog deserves a chance, even a third or fourth, which is why we are a proud no-kill shelter committed to providing compassion and love to every animal in our care.
Our Story
What started as a small rescue in Andy Wostal’s home in 2021 has blossomed into a dedicated facility in Tracy City, Tennessee. Through the hard work of our volunteers and the generosity of local donors, we have expanded our space to include specialized buildings for intakes and a nursery, ensuring we can better serve the dogs of Grundy County and beyond.
Our Care Model
When dogs arrive at our facility—often after experiencing abuse, neglect, or loss—they are given the dedicated care they deserve. We prioritize health by performing an initial quarantine, providing essential vaccinations, and working closely with local clinics to ensure every dog is spayed or neutered. This transparent process ensures that every pup is healthy and ready to join their new family.
