Humane Tomorrow

A Dedicated Mission for Animals and People

Humane Tomorrow is a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a respectful, responsible, and compassionate relationship between animals and people. We work tirelessly to rescue, provide care for, and find loving homes for unwanted and abused animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding North Texas areas.

Founded on Compassion

Since our founding in 1997 by a group of experienced rescuers and advocates, our goal has remained constant: to improve the lives of animals and the communities that care for them. We address the urgent needs of today while developing educational programs to build a kinder tomorrow, ensuring that every animal receives the support they deserve.

Our Care Model

We believe every animal deserves a future full of belly rubs, sunny naps, and a family to call their own. Our care model relies on a dedicated team of volunteers and foster homes, as well as our facility at the Glenn & Shirley Hulcher Family Animal Care Center, to provide comfort and specialized care. From our Mercy Fund for medical needs to our Love on Wheels transport program, we create paths to healing and new beginnings for vulnerable pets.

Finding Your Perfect Match

At Humane Tomorrow, we are committed to setting both our animals and our adopters up for long-term success. Our adoption process is designed to ensure a thoughtful, joyful partnership, matching each unique animal with the right household. We are here to guide you through every step of the journey, ensuring your new family member settles in comfortably and thrives.

9/23 - 🎸If you’ve been looking for a hound dog who’ll steal your heart, Elvis is ready to take the stage. At just 3.5 months old and about 20 pounds, this little star from our “Elvis” litter already knows how to work a crowd with his speckled coat, tan eye patch, and those signature ears that could give the King’s iconic hair a run for its money! 🐾Elvis seems to have inherited some Shepherd traits from his mama, and his freckles hint at a bit of cattle dog flair. Whatever the mix, it created one irresistible pup with a whole lot of personality! 🦴He’s living his best puppy life — jamming with toys, hanging out with other dogs, and splashing around like he’s headlining a poolside concert. When the show’s over, he’s all about curling up for a long snooze, preferably right on his foster mom’s lap. ✨Elvis is a clever little guy, too. He’s already crate trained and making solid progress with housetraining, especially when there’s a treat waiting for him. He’s great with dogs, friendly with cats, and would do well in a home with kids 6 and up. 💕If you’re ready to welcome a young rock and roller who’s equal parts sweet, silly, and soulful, Elvis is ready to leave the building and run straight into your arms! Submit your application, and an adoption counselor will reach out soon. #HumaneTomorrow #DFWDogs #AdoptDontShop #RescueDogs #AnimalRescue #DogLover
