Bastrop County Animal Shelter
Connecting Hearts and Paws
At Bastrop County Animal Services, our mission is to provide a safe haven for animals in need and to help them find the loving, forever homes they deserve. We believe every pet is a cherished member of the community, and we are dedicated to fostering a culture of compassion and responsible care throughout Bastrop County.
Our Commitment to Care
Our organization serves as a vital resource for our community, providing care for animals awaiting their next chapter. We operate a shelter facility that serves as a central hub for our rescue efforts, working diligently every day to ensure the well-being of every animal in our care.
A Personalized Approach to Adoption
We pride ourselves on a transparent and accessible adoption process, whether you are looking for a new canine companion or a feline friend. While some of our animals reside at the shelter, others are currently thriving in our dedicated foster homes, which allows us to learn more about their unique personalities and needs. When you adopt, we are here to support you in finding the perfect match to ensure a joyful, lasting partnership for both you and your new pet.
Join Us in Making a Difference
Ready to meet your new best friend? We invite you to browse our available animals online, where you can view photos and learn more about each pet. Once you have found an animal that captures your heart, simply fill out an online application to start the process, or visit us during regular business hours to meet them in person. If you have questions or would like to arrange a visit, please reach out to us at 512-549-5160—we look forward to helping you find your perfect companion.
