At Save An Angel, we empower pet parents and save lives through community-driven veterinary care, education, and dedicated rescue programs. We operate every day with a guiding motto: Pets. People. Purpose.
Our Story
Our journey began in 2009 in New Orleans, driven by a grassroots effort to save a remarkable dog named Angel from a life-threatening illness. The outpouring of support from our community taught us that when we come together, we can overcome impossible odds. Today, we carry that same spirit of hope as we work to build a compassionate, safe community for pets and the people who love them in Bastrop and Central Texas.
How We Care
We believe in going above and beyond to provide care and kindness to homeless and at-risk animals. Because we do not operate an animal shelter or boarding facility, our Rescue Program relies on an incredible network of foster families who provide love and rehabilitation in a home environment. By eliminating barriers to care, we ensure our furry friends receive the support they need while they wait for their forever homes.
