City of Bedford Texas Animal Control and Animal Shelter
Our Mission
Bedford Animal Services is dedicated to the care and custody of every animal in our shelter, proactively seeking loving, permanent homes for all of our adoptable residents. We strive to create hopeful outcomes through compassion, professional service, and community partnership.
Our Commitment to Care
As a division of the Bedford Police Department, we are committed to public safety and the welfare of our animals. Whether responding to service calls or providing daily care and enrichment in our kennels, our team works tirelessly to ensure every animal is treated with dignity and respect.
How We Operate
While our Bedford facility is currently undergoing exciting renovations until spring 2027, our operations remain in full swing at the Euless Animal Shelter located at 201 W. Euless Blvd. Our dedicated staff continues to provide comprehensive care at this location, and we are proud to serve as a hub where residents can visit, donate, and connect with their next family member.
Finding Your New Best Friend
We believe that every adoption is the beginning of a beautiful, lifelong friendship. When you adopt from us, you aren't just bringing home a pet; you are participating in a joyful, community-wide effort to give deserving animals a second chance at happiness.
