Our Mission
The mission of the Tri-City Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is to provide exemplary care for impounded and unwanted animals through Redemption, Adoption, and Public Education. Our vision is to work as a team to make a positive difference in the lives of both people and animals.
Who We Are
As an open-admission shelter serving the residents of Cedar Hill, DeSoto, and Duncanville, we are dedicated to providing a safe haven for pets in need within our community. We are grateful for our partnership with the Friends of the Tri-City Animal Shelter, whose incredible support has subsidized thousands of spay/neuter surgeries to help manage pet overpopulation.
How We Care
Our shelter operations are deeply focused on health, safety, and welfare, utilizing a combination of in-house care and a dedicated foster network. Foster homes provide a vital, quiet space for puppies, kittens, or recovering animals to thrive until they are ready for their next chapter. When you adopt from us, you are supporting a team committed to providing core vaccinations, microchipping, and sterilization for every animal.
