Welcome to Edgar & Ivy's Cat Sanctuary Inc., a dedicated nonprofit organization located in Corpus Christi, Texas. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for cats in need through rescue, rehabilitation, and advocacy. At our sanctuary, located at 3368 FM 2292, we focus on creating a nurturing environment for sick kittens and cats, offering critical medical care in our specialized medical ward. We proudly house a nursery for mother-cat and baby combos, along with incubators for our tiniest residents who require special feeding care. We believe in providing a free-roam playroom, where our kittens can explore, socialize, and learn essential skills such as litter training and food sharing in a safe and interactive environment. Kittens enjoy sensory toys, climbing structures, and playful interactions that foster their social behavior. Our commitment goes beyond just rescues. We also run a Feral Sanctuary on 10 acres where we care for disabled and elderly feral cats who have suffered abuse. This sanctuary is designed to be cage-free and features natural hideaways, ensuring a stress-free living environment where these at-risk felines can thrive. We practice a no-kill policy and prioritize the importance of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) methods to help manage cat populations humanely. We are proud to partner with local Petco locations to facilitate cat adoptions and to spread awareness about our mission. We encourage potential pet adopters and community members to visit us during our operating hours, from Monday to Sunday, 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
