Welcome to the Gulf Coast Humane Society (GCHS), where we have been dedicated to completing families through pet adoption since 1945. Located in Corpus Christi, Texas, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is a no-kill animal shelter committed to caring for approximately 3,000 cats and dogs each year, ensuring they receive the love and support they deserve. Our journey began with a vision from founders Frances and Harvey Weil, who established GCHS with the mission to promote responsible pet parenting and the humane treatment of all animals.
