Founded in 1938, the SPCA of Texas is the most comprehensive and longest-serving animal welfare agency in North Texas. As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are proudly supported by local residents and remain dedicated to serving our community’s most vulnerable animals.

10/8 - Good exists. And sometimes, it looks like celebrating someone who has spent eight years making a difference. 💜🐾 Since joining @SPCAofTexas in 2018, Stacy has given her time, heart and dedication to the animals and people who make this organization so special. So when it was time for her to retire, we knew we had to send her off with a proper celebration! We surprised Stacy with a retirement party surrounded by coworkers, lots of love, happy tears and of course a delicious cake! 🎂🥳 Stacy will be so dearly missed, but we’re incredibly grateful for the eight years she spent helping make a difference. 9/30 - WET NOSE WEDNESDAY! Meet Cash. He’s an 8-year-old hound mix, about 46 pounds, and this sweet guy is looking for a place to call home. Cash is the kind of dog who’s up for a little adventure, but he’s just as happy kicking back and hanging out with his favorite people. He’s loyal, gentle, playful, and has SO much love to give. Cash is FREE to adopt! He’s currently waiting on a dental procedure, and the SPCA of Texas is covering it while he’s in foster care. He’ll just need a few scheduled vet appointments before he’s ready to officially find his forever family. You can meet Cash at the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive, every day from noon to 6. No appointment or application needed just walk in!
