City of Farmers Branch Animal Adoption Center - Animal Adoption Center
Our Mission
At the Farmers Branch Animal Adoption Center, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care for animals in need and connecting them with the loving forever homes they deserve. We believe every pet in our care deserves a chance at a happy, healthy life.
Supporting Our Community
As a municipal shelter, we serve as a vital resource for our community by caring for pets surrendered by residents, stray animals found within city limits, and those rescued from neglect. We go to great lengths to ensure every animal is treated with dignity, and we actively work with various agencies and dedicated foster homes to save lives and maximize positive outcomes.
How We Care for Our Pets
Our facility houses a diverse range of cats and dogs, and we are proud to offer a robust fostering program that gives animals a safe, home-like environment to thrive in before adoption. We provide comprehensive care, including essential medical evaluations, vaccinations, microchipping, and sterilization, ensuring every pet is ready for their new family. Whether it is through our dedicated staff or our network of foster families, we strive to provide the utmost comfort, socialization, and enrichment for every animal in our care.
Finding Your New Best Friend
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find the perfect match for your lifestyle. Our animals come in all shapes, sizes, and personalities, all waiting to become a cherished member of your family.
