The OMalley Alley Cat Organization
Our Mission
At O’Malley Alley Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to providing for the adoption and placement of rescued cats and kittens into permanent, loving homes. We work to save today’s cats and prevent the challenges of tomorrow through compassionate, no-kill principles.
Why We Serve
Founded on a commitment to the well-being of homeless felines, we address the critical need for animal welfare in and around the Tyler, Texas area. As a volunteer-powered 501(c)3 organization, we believe in educating the public on responsible pet ownership and the importance of spay/neuter initiatives to alleviate suffering within the feral cat population.
Our Unique Approach
We are a 100% volunteer-powered, foster-based rescue, meaning our cats are raised in loving home environments rather than a traditional shelter setting. By placing our rescues in foster homes, we ensure each animal receives individualized socialization, care, and training. Our network of volunteers and supporters keeps our mission moving forward, helping us get East Texas cats off the streets and into safe, indoor-only homes.
The Joy of a Perfect Match
We are deeply invested in the long-term success of every cat that comes into our care. Our adoption process is designed to ensure that each placement is a safe, responsible, and lifelong match for both the pet and the family. By taking the time to carefully screen and support our adopters, we create the foundation for a lasting, meaningful relationship between people and animals.
