Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter

Welcome to the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS), the sole refuge dedicated to the lost and unhoused pets of Round Rock, Cedar Park, Hutto, Leander, Georgetown, and Williamson County. Our Mission is to provide a safe haven with compassionate and humane treatment for every lost and unhoused pet that comes through our doors. We believe that every animal deserves love, care, and a chance at a better life. Our Vision is bold: to save every healthy and behaviorally sound companion animal. We strive to rehabilitate all medically treatable dogs and cats that do not pose a public health and safety risk, ensuring they receive the love and care they need. At WCRAS, we are guided by core values that shape our operations: Our commitment to community involvement is the cornerstone of our success. We proudly operate with a high save rate, defined by our "noses in/noses out" policy, where every animal is recognized, cared for, and provided the best possible outcome regardless of their adoptability status. Join us in our mission to save lives! Whether it's by adopting a new furry friend, volunteering your time, or making a donation, your support makes all the difference. Together, we can help build a brighter future for the pets in our care. Visit us at our main campus located at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626 or reach us by phone at 512-943-3322. Our doors are open daily from noon to 6 PM (excluding some holidays).
