Home At Last Animal Haven [HALAH]

A Second Chance at Life

Home At Last Animal Haven is an animal rescue dedicated to providing a compassionate, no-kill environment for friendless animals. We believe every dog deserves a second chance at happiness in a loving, forever home.

Our Journey

Our story began in 1976 when our founders, Norm and Joy Yadon, moved to rural Godley, Texas, and encountered many abandoned animals in need of help. Inspired by their love for these animals, they devoted their lives to creating a haven that has since become an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

A Different Kind of Haven

The Haven is a unique, all-outdoor facility where dogs can be dogs. Instead of sterile cages, our residents enjoy the country air, shade trees, and space to romp and rest together in their yards until they find their permanent families.

Connecting Pets and People

We are committed to helping you find your perfect companion through thoughtful, heart-centered care. Every dog at our Haven receives love, shelter, and socialization as they prepare for the joy of life with a new family. Our dedicated team is here to support you throughout the adoption journey, ensuring a successful match for both you and your future pet.
