Our Mission

Friends For Animals is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to the prevention of animal suffering and overpopulation through public education, an aggressive spay/neuter program, and the adoption of shelter pets into loving homes.

Our Story

Located in Granbury, Texas, our no-kill shelter serves as a dedicated sanctuary for animals in need. Operating entirely on donations, we function independently of city, county, or state funding to provide a safe haven for those awaiting their forever families.

Life at Our Shelter

We operate out of a welcoming facility featuring inside and outside dog kennels, a specialized isolation building, and numerous covered yard runs. This comfortable environment allows us to care for over 20 dogs at a time while they wait to meet their new companions.

The Adoption Partnership

Adopting a pet is a joyful, life-changing journey, and we are here to ensure the perfect match. Our adoption process includes an interview and agreement to help us learn more about you, ensuring that both the adopter and the animal are set up for a lifetime of happiness together.
