Our Journey in the Community
Officially established in 2024 as a department of the City of Harlingen, our shelter serves as a beacon of hope for our four-legged friends. We were created to address the vital needs of local animals, ensuring they receive care and support while awaiting their new beginnings.
Providing Compassionate Care
At our facility on Markowsky Avenue, our dedicated team of nine full-time and two part-time staff members works tirelessly to look after our residents. Beyond our daily care routines and adoption coordination, we are deeply committed to reunification efforts, helping lost pets find their way back home to their families.
