Town of Hickory Creek Animal Adoption Center
Our Mission
Hickory Creek Animal Shelter is dedicated to the welfare of animals and serves our community with passion and purpose. We are proud to be known as The Little Shelter with a Big Heart.
Why We Are Here
We strive to maintain a low-kill shelter that prioritizes the lives and health of our animals. Our team continually evaluates the needs and services of the Town of Hickory Creek to ensure we provide the best possible protection and care for every pet that comes through our doors.
How We Care
Our animals are cared for through a flexible, compassionate model that includes our shelter facility and a network of foster homes. Because some of our adoptable pets are currently living in foster homes, we operate by appointment to ensure every animal receives the personalized attention they deserve. This hybrid approach helps us provide a safe, nurturing environment while we search for the perfect family for each animal.
Your New Best Friend
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are committed to helping you find the perfect match for your home. Whether you are looking for a canine companion, a feline friend, or even a barn cat, our team is here to support you through the process. Our transparent adoption fees include essential health services like spay or neuter, microchipping, and necessary vaccinations, ensuring your new companion starts their new life off on the right foot.
